Canaima National Park is located in southeastern Venezuela, along the border between Guyana and Brazil. Partially covered by table mountain formations, the park also includes the Gran Sabana region. The sheer cliffs and waterfalls, including Angel Falls, the world's highest, form a spectacular landscape.

Cape Horn is the southernmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago of southern Chile. The Diego Ramírez Islands are a small group of islands located southwest of Cape Horn. The Drake Passage is the body of water between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica.
