Nestled in the northeastern corner of the French side of the island of Saint Martin, the Saint-Martin National Nature Reserve is a pristine haven for the region's rich biodiversity and a true gem in the heart of the Caribbean. From its rocky coasts and cliffs to its vibrant coral reefs and mangrove forests, the Saint-Martin National Nature Reserve is a testament to the remarkable diversity of life in this tropical paradise.

Salt River Bay National Historic Park and Ecological Preserve are located on the island of Saint Croix. The protected area preserves upland watersheds, mangrove forests and marine environments. It also contains the only known site where a Columbus expedition set foot on what is now U.S. territory.

San Guillermo National Park occupies the core zone of the San Guillermo Biosphere Reserve located in San Juan Province, Argentina which protects and represents the mixed mountain and highland ecosystems in the foothills and mountains of the Andes.

Nestled in the Honduran department of Choluteca, the San Marcos de Colón Biosphere Reserve emerges as a captivating expanse that seamlessly blends ecological diversity with cultural richness. The unique climatic conditions, influenced by a history of agricultural deforestation and higher altitudes, create a temperate environment, fostering a mosaic of ecosystems.

Encompassing two active volcanoes, Tungurahua and Sangay, as well as the extinct El Altar (Kapak Urku), this park covers the entire spectrum of Ecuador's ecosystems, from glacial peaks to lush rainforests, all under the watchful gaze of one of the world's most active volcanic giants.

Santa Rosa National Park in Costa Rica protects endangered tropical dry forests. It features diverse habitats and is home to various species, such as monkeys, big cats, and sea turtles nesting on its beaches. The park honors the fallen heroes of the Battle of Santa Rosa with the "La Casona" monument and connects to Guanacaste National Park, forming a vital biological corridor.

São Joaquim National Park is located in Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. Located within the Serra Geral, the National Park is known for its alpine meadows and cloud forests. The terrain is very rugged and includes canyons, large caves, and mountain slopes covered in native forests.

The Savegre Biosphere Reserve is located on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast and borders two other biosphere reserves in the north and east. Due to its varied topography and its heterogeneity of microclimates, it is one of the most biodiverse sites in the country.

The Seaflower Biosphere Reserve encompasses the entire land and marine territory of the San Andrés Archipelago in the southwestern Caribbean Sea. The archipelago, which forms the West Indies Department of Colombia, supports diverse marine and bird life and extensive coral reefs.

Serra da Capivara National Park, a World Heritage Site located in Brazil's Northeast Region, was created to protect the prehistoric artifacts and paintings found there. Over 300 archaeological sites have been found, mainly consisting of rock and wall paintings dating from 50,000 - 30,000 years ago.
