Celaque National Park is part of the Cacique Lempira - Señor de las Montañas Biosphere Reserve located in the western part of Honduras. Its ecosystem is primarily cloud forest and includes Cerro las Minas, the highest mountain in Honduras.

The Central Amazon Conservation Complex and Biosphere Reserve make up the largest protected area in the Amazon Basin and are one of the planet's richest regions in terms of biodiversity. It is where most of the ecosystems recorded in the Amazon Basin are found.

The Central Suriname Nature Reserve comprises nearly four million acres of primary tropical forest. Covering a range of ecosystems, it protects the upper watershed of the Coppename River and the headwaters of the Lucie, Oost, Zuid, Saramaccz, and Gran Rio rivers.

Cerro Castillo National Park is located in the Aysén Region of southern Chile, along the Carretera Austral. Named after the magnificent Cerro Castillo peak, its unique landscape contains hanging glaciers that form lagoons with bright turquoise waters.

The Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve in Jalisco, Mexico, hosts a wide variety of ecosystems that make up one of the most diverse landscapes on the Pacific coast of the Americas. It is essential for conserving the vast dry and deciduous tropical forests, among the world's most threatened ecosystems.

Chiloé National Park, located along the vast and desolate west coast of Chiloé Island in southern Chile, is rich with wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, whales, and seabirds. It includes zones of dunes, temperate rainforests, swamps, and peat bogs.

Chingaza National Natural Park is in the Cordillera Occidental of the Colombian Andes. Situated within the Orinoco River basin, it contains numerous natural glacial lakes and is an important source of drinking water.

The Biosphere Reserve presents a tapestry of landscapes, each contributing to the region's remarkable biodiversity.

The Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta Biosphere Reserve is located in northern Colombia and contains one of the largest coastal wetlands in Latin America. It comprises Isla de Salamanca National Natural Park as well as the Flora and Fauna Sanctuary of the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta.
