Emerging as a beacon of conservation and a testament to the power of cross-border cooperation, the Trifinio Fraternidad Biosphere Reserve stands as a tri-national sanctuary nestled amidst the convergence of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Established in 2011 as Central America's first transboundary biosphere reserve, it significantly contributes to implementing the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor.

Tumucumaque Mountains National Park, the world's largest tropical forest national park, is situated in the Amazon Rainforest, bordering French Guyana and Suriname. It is part of the Amapá Biodiversity Corridor and is one of only a few forests still unaltered by humans.

Nestled in the lofty elevations of Bolivia, the Ulla-Ulla Biosphere Reserve stands as a testament to the diverse wonders that thrive in the Central Andean wet puna ecoregion. This reserve is a mosaic of ecological marvels, encompassing the expansive high plateau, pristine tundra, towering Cordillera, majestic mountains, serene lakes, the origins of rivers, and a perpetual snow zone.

Utría National Natural Park contains diverse flora and fauna in a lush, mountainous rainforest with some of the highest rainfall in the world. Located on Colombia's Pacific coast, the park overlaps indigenous territory and includes fishing villages along the coast.

Veracruz Coral Reef System National Park and the Sistema Arrecifal Biosphere Reserve comprise flats, islands, and reefs in the Gulf of Mexico on the inner part of the continental shelf. The area harbors resident, transitory and migrant fish, operating as a barrier against waves and storms.

Villarrica National Park is in the Chilean Andes, in Chile's La Araucanía and Los Ríos regions. The National Park protects the Valdivian temperate rainforest habitat. A popular hiking destination, highlights are the volcanoes: Villarrica, Quetrupillán, and Lanín.

The Virgin Islands National Park, renowned worldwide for its breathtaking beauty, protects approximately 60% of St. John and nearly all of Hassel Island in the Charlotte Amalie harbor on St. Thomas. In addition, the Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument is located offshore of the island of St. John.

The Volcán Tacaná Biosphere Reserve encompasses the Tacaná Volcano in Chiapas, on the Mexico-Guatemala border. The volcano is part of the Central America Volcanic Arc. It contains fragile ecosystems rich in wild flora and fauna of cultural, scientific, economic, and biological relevance.

Beyond the idyllic beaches and lush landscapes that draw visitors to Saint Lucia, this Eastern Caribbean gem harbors geological wonders that ignite the imagination. The Pitons, two volcanic spires thrust skyward from the sea, stand as the island's most iconic landmark. Gros Piton and Petit Piton, along with the surrounding Soufrière Volcanic Center, form a landscape that is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also holds immense geological significance.

Washington Slagbaai National Park is located in northwestern Bonaire and covers almost 17% of the island. The park showcases various landscapes, from arid cactus scrub to salt flats, caves, and sandy beaches. It is home to many endemic and endangered species, including parrots, flamingos, and sea turtles, and serves as a sanctuary for them. The park also boasts historical landmarks and geological formations, blending nature and culture perfectly.
